As a SE and TB user, i'm already doing my best.
It's more easy to find "Thotsbay" instead of looking for other forums with different names.
So it's more easy to get those new users.
What happens to the old forum??

Soooo many legendary threads gone. This is a sad day smh but we must move on it and rebuild
The most useful thing is to create an album in google photos... You can create as many as you want and save content there... It's quite useful, you can even share the album so that other people contribute, although many spammers come with links and shorteners and all that...
We have to rebuild little by little... Over time there will be all the threads we want...I was really looking forward for the professional models sections and now i miss it.
The old forum sure had a much better feel and slick design and everything people posted had tags like thicc and others things help navigate will definitely be missed
wouldn't it be faster if older archives are used? sorry I am a noob at building forums, so i wouldn't know.
There are no backups of the old forum, this forum is something completely new, it also represents an opportunity for those who have saved content to create new threads or share things that have not yet been posted and accumulate many likes...
thanks for the info. If say I want to open a new thread for 18OMG models, what would I have to do? As a member can I simply start a new thread?
Create a thread in the corresponding section respecting the rules...
In the older forum there was a section called "Professional Modelling Sites" and we could create a thread. which section would you recommend that the new thread be created in? We will need a new section itself like "youtube" "instagram" etc...
Send a private message to the Administrator to create a section, I'm sure he'll connect soon...
The admin of the previous forum probably kept a forum database with all the threads and posts. Is it impossible to contact him, ask for this database (for sure he will give it) and pour it into this forum? Given that the CMS of the forum is the same I think it would not be difficult.
And in general, I would make some sort of file in excel and save it all links to file sharing. Maybe I'll do that later.
